How to Respond to this Call for Artists
To respond to this Call for Artists, please prepare your required materials as outlined below and submit your proposal by uploading your documents to a competition Dropbox here. Please upload all materials and images in one PDF file labeled with the project name as the file name. Entrants can submit entries for either the gateways, or the historical markers, or both, but each entry should clearly indicate for which category you are submitting and a different project name and submission form should be used for each entry. The categories will be judged separately.

Statement of Interest and Artistic Vision
Applicants must submit a project proposal of up to 1,000 words that states the Artist’s interest in this project, and clearly describes your vision for the project and its relationship to the specific site(s).
An itemized budget of your anticipated project expenses using the template here.
A list of up to three references, with contact information, including at least one that can speak to the Artist’s ability to serve as project manager and the Artist’s ability to manage the fabrication and the installation of artwork.
Relevant Work Samples
Include up to five relevant work samples and a numbered, annotated image list with title, media, dimensions, location, brief description, date of the work, project budget, and project partners if applicable.
Renderings and Sketches of the Proposed Project
Image size must not exceed 11” x 17” at 300 DPI.
